Hello!
I came up with these snacks for my children during Spring break and I just want to share them with you.
CHEESY SALTED CARAMEL CROSTINI
Pan-toasted baguettes slices with brie cheese drizzled with salted caramel and garnished with shaved dark chocolate. All you need to do is brush the baguette slices with butter or olive oil then toast each side in the pan until golden brown. Immediately topped with a slice of Brie cheese (you want the cheese to melt to adhere to the toast) then drizzle with salted caramel and chocolate ganache or topped with shaved chocolates. Garnish with your favorite tree nuts (optional). Serve warm.
KIT-KAT BAR BERRIES SMOOTHIE
Blended frozen and fresh organic strawberries, organic raspberries, organic milk and organic vanilla yogurt, sweetened with a teaspoon of raw honey topped with chopped white and dark chocolate Kit-Kat bars. You can also add a scoop of organic vegan protein powder for a more wholesome and nutritious smoothie. Children and adults alike will surely like this.
CHEESY GARLIC AND HERBS CROSTINI
Pan-toasted baguettes slices topped with brie cheese and seasoned with either fresh or dried garlic and herbs.
I always make these delicious bite-size toasted sliced baguettes. This is my family’s favorite garlic toast paired with salad or just a snack.
Note: You can slice the baguette ahead of time and freeze them and toast them frozen directly in the pan. That’s what I did. Easy-peasy!
That is all for now. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

Garlic and herbs is my favourite. I love your first option too. The kit-kat bar berries smoothie? I would have that for dessert at lunch time. Then take a long walk to shed off some of the calories. Thanks for sharing, Anna.
My pleasure, Liz. Thank you too for visiting and for the many likes, comments and compliments. Have a beautiful Friday! 🙂
Hope I can make that one 🙂 I guess I just ask my husband to make one for us since he cooks I don’t 🙂 Your kids is really blessed to have such a great mother who can create delicious meals/snacks 🙂
Thank you for the lovely compliment. I’m sure you can. They may look intimidating, but they’re really easy to make. You’re blessed to have a husband who knows how to cook. I want my husband to cook for me, but he takes us to dine in a restaurant instead; not that I’m complaining.:D Thank you for the visit. Have a lovely week. 🙂
My husband wants me to cook for him, I can cook a little though, he can’t complain as I told him before we got married that I can’t cook 🙂 Happy cooking!
Now, that’s true love! You are blessed. 🙂
Yes I am thankful to have him in my life 🙂
I think salted caramels is the “in” treat now. I just bought a packet of salted caramels for my dad and saw a wide range of salted caramel snacks in the supermarket too 🙂
Hi, Ms. Garfield. 🙂 Yes, it is a thing now, which I’m glad because I love salted caramel. Delicious!
