Hello! It’s been a while. It’s just a note to say thank you so much to those who visited, followed, liked my posts and left comments on my blog. It really means a lot to me. To my blogging community, I apologize for not being able to visit yours in a while. I hope to be able to visit soon. To my new followers, thank you for following.
I also would like to wish you a Happy Valentine’s day in advance. To celebrate the occasion, I just thought I’d share with all the moms out there a very simple, inexpensive and fun DIY exchange treats for school for Valentine’s day.
Materials needed:
- Pen
- Self-adhesive labels of your choice (available at Michael’s)
- Lollipops
Steps:
Remove the labels from the plastic bag and separate them.
Write “Happy Valentine’s Day!” and who it’s from.
The backing sheet is split in the center. Find it and peel away to expose the adhesive side of the label.
Attach the label on the lollipop stick.
Just wrap it around and press the end (of the label) together to secure.
Repeat with the remaining pops.
Place them back in the box and seal. They are ready to be given away. 🙂
And of course, Valentine’s day is not complete without a cake, flowers, and chocolates. So, I made this mini delectable Valentine’s cake embellished with fondant, fresh and fondant flowers, and pink chocolate candy hearts (on top) to celebrate the occasion paired with your favorite tea or hot cocoa drink; perfect to end the evening. 🙂 Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤

Could you make a video on how to make fondant. Infact incase you do not have a channel then if you start a youtube channel with recipies and so on, I’ll always be there to look up to it. Thank you x
Hello Margaret. Thank you for the compliment. It’s much appreciated.
Oh, I have thought about having a YouTube channel a long time ago, but I’m camera shy. However, it’s been on my mind and I’ve been thinking about really doing it. I just need to find the time. You will be my first viewer if that’s the case. 😀 There are videos on how to make fondant from scratch on YouTube. You might want to check it out. 🙂
I did. But all that I have tried hardens in a days time.
Ooh good, Hope to see you soon. You definitely have a ardent follower in me ☺
Oh, sorry to hear it didn’t work out. Did you try putting it in a Ziploc bag and then place it in tight vac container?
You really encouraged me. I’ll look into it. Thanks for encouraging me. It means a lot. 🙂 Have a great week.
Yes I did. Don’t know what went wrong.
My pleasure. Also I love baking☺
Did you leave it out at room temperature or in the fridge?
I love baking too. I’m currently fixated on cakes and cupcakes. I’m crazy about them. 😀
After making the fondant, I wrapped it in cellophane paper air tight and left it out. After use I refrigerated it. The next day it started hardening.
Ohh Cool. No wonder your amazing blog. It’s nice to connect with people of similair interests☺
Hmm..I wonder what went wrong?
Oh, thanks! Yes, definitely. I’ll be on the look out for your future posts. 🙂
